Do you write on white boards often? Often enough that you need an eraser instead of using tissues or your fingers? Often enough that your eraser gets dirty? Dirty enough that it doesn't erase as well as it should? After minutes of scouring the internet I seem to have found the answer.
And that answer is warm water and dish soap.
Note: Don't get any of the ink water on your clothes, it probably doesn't come out all too easily, but I don't know that for sure.

You actually should never wipe off a dry erase board with your finger. You leave oils from your fingertips that make subsequent erasures less effective
