Tip 117: LGA Bathrooms

One night a few months ago I was stuck in LaGuardia Airport for a few hours and eventually I had to use the bathroom. No shit you say? Well- it gets mildly more interesting.

All around LGA, between the walls and ceiling, rather than a 90 degree corner, there are 45 degree bevels. Additionally, many of the walls, some ceilings and the bevels are glass.

So I go into the stall and I look up and I notice that I can see down into all the other stalls in the row by looking up at the 45 degree glass. Creepy? Yes. Glad I was alone in the bathroom? Yes.

The tip, therefore, is if you need to use a bathroom at LaGuardia, look up and cover up- you'll be glad you did.
