Tip 93: Breakfast Cereal

Breakfast cereal is a fantastic food. It's full of fiber, iron, deliciousness, and protein (note the serial comma, I'm trying it out since I've been told that's proper English). Unfortunately, cereal is often expensive, up to around $5 a box. This is usually not worth it (especially for poor college students). Therefore, keep your eyes open for sales on cereal.

There was a sale at my local Rite-Aid for Post cereal at $1.88 a box, which is really a ridiculous deal. I stocked up, a little. I got 4 boxes, which is good for a month or two. As long as you don't open the box cereal keeps really well, so when you see a sale get a few boxes and eat breakfast. It's good for you

Alternate Motive for Buying and Consuming Cereal:
Time Efficiency

Consider me the following simple equations of sorts:

Eating Breakfast at a Dining Hall:
Walk to dining hall (5-10min) +
Wait in line for food (5min) +
Assemble Breakfast (5min) +
Eat Breakfast that is much larger than what you would eat if you had cereal (15-20min) +
Dispose of Breakfast and Leave Dining Hall (3min) =
33-43 minutes FUCK!

Eating Cereal in your Dorm:
Eat the Goddam cereal (5min) =
5 GODDAM MINUTES. IT ADDS UP MUTHAFUCKAS!

Don't eat breakfast:
Malnutrition, Loss of energy, Loss of focus, DEATH (RIP)

Alternate Method of Procurement:
Ask your parents to send care packages full of cereal. At least they'll know their money is going toward your nutrition and not destroying your liver.
