Tip 102: Really Good Software Part 5, ImgBurn

Wow. This is the farthest back I've ever had to go. Sad.

Today's software item is ImgBurn. It's a freeware program you can use to burn and rip disc images onto or from CDs and DVDs. This is useful, for example, for making bootable discs. I used ImgBurn the other day to burn myself a copy of DBAN. You can't burn a disc like this using Windows, you need to burn it as a disc image (.iso usually) so it can be bootable, instead of a data disc as you would burn with Windows.
